I have made plans to go to my local ATC session which is happening down in the New Gallery art gallery in downtown at Eau Claire market (artist trading cards)
since it is happening this halloween. I haven't done much for halloween for myself other than watch horror movies, and I felt like it was time for a change.

I am making a tonne of new ATCs. I'll be posting them soon, because those that aren't traded I hope to trade on here.

In honor of my most favorite days of the year--halloween and dia de los muertos-- I have decided to throw another contest for this year!
Since I did Day of the Dead last year-- this year will be all about Halloween.

I am not one for a lot of rules-- but since I am not the only one judging, there are some agreed rules.

This contest has begun on this day Sept. 30 and will end on Nov. 25

Theme

As said above, the theme for this contest is Halloween.

RULES

-- I am not accepting old deviations made before Sept 30. The exception to this rule is any Artisan Crafts, deviations placed under this category do not have to be new

-- I will NOT accept artisan craft deviations that have been submitted to my last years contest

--All deviations must have a Halloween theme, I am ok if you submit dia de los muertos themed deviations, but any images showing tasteless and senseless violence (such as someone slashing their wrists, or getting their brains splattered etc.) will be subject to rejection at my discretion. ZOMBIE themed deviations are the exception to that rule of over-the-top-gore

-- This year only TWO entries per deviant will be allowed.You may only win once with your deviations.

-- Literature is now accepted!

-- All entries must be submitted to me by note

-- Under all deviations you must put in the description that you are entering that piece into my contest, otherwise it will not be entered until you do so.

since I do not have a sub, the prizes offered on my end are very limited, and it is because of this reason I will offer the info of what the contents of treat bags are. No images will be put up yet though so the pieces will remain a mystery... until I can't keep them secret anymore that is

Any prize donors will have their name entered into a raffle for a special treat bag. The names will be drawn from the ancient and all mysterious method of the raffle hat
Prize donors who enter my contest will not have their names put into the hat.
My younger brother will put a few names into the hat whose deviations really made an impact but could not make it onto the winners list.

So we're almost towards the half point of my contest and I only have 4 entries which belong to two people. I'm a little disappointed to say the least
I thought I'd have a much larger outcome because last year was so much of a success.
I have come to a decision that if I can get at least 10 more entries from different contestants I will extend the deadline, but if I do not reach past the 10 mark, I will sadly have to cancel my contest
and here I had a ton of tangible goodies, not just features to be had by such lovely people...
I have decided to take out the no literature rule, and start accepting those entries-- hopefully it'll maybe entice more people, hehe

I see that I make almost all my sales here on deviant art, but the problem is that when new customers come along, they have no way of knowing whether or not my goods are worth it, because there is no real feedback system here. So I try and divert some of the traffic to my etsy but it just ain't working so well. So what I have devised is to transfer all the sales here to my etsy-- in other words if you note me for a particular order, I will post it up on etsy as a reserved listing for you. This way I can get in some sales feedback, as well as get more attention towards my etsy-- where I would really love to make the sales more than here to better get to know the system of things on that site and give me more of an idea of what to expect when I open my very own online shop in the future.

Another potential Contest!

Well it's almost that time of year, my most favorite time of year! Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos.
So last year I did Dia de los muertos, this year it'll be about Halloween! Woo Hoo yeah!
And yes, some of my jewelry will be up for grabs... but I just may also decide to include something from a different category in my gallery

My idea is to make treat bags this time as a prize, where the level of winning dictates how much will be inside the bag
so that each one is a surprise

BUT this isn't for sure yet, so stay tuned
